Working on our 4th year of burger eating with Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta

AEP is thrilled to annually cover an event that feeds community servants for a few quarters.  Every year on June 14th, Hard Rock .79 cent burgers invite fire trucks and police cars to the corner of Peachtree and Andrew Young International.

This year the Guns and Hoses burger eating competition expanded to include a third team. 

The EMTs of Grady Hospital stopped in and made a burger eating impression.

With 8 minutes on the clock the competition begins.

Atlanta Fire were defending their victory in 2009.

Atlanta Police worked with a strong Red Dog fan base.

The teams have buckets behind and a prize Legendary Burger as the goal.

 And the winner . . . without the need for a recount.
