Hard Rock Cafe: Caddie down Guitar up

The times they are a-changin' when Hard Rock Cafe takes down the cadillac from the front of their downtown Atlanta location on Peachtree Street.  

The convertible is expected to be renovated and hit the road once again.

Out with the old and up with the neon.

The 30-foot tall guitar weighs 2,800 pounds and took six hours to install on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 and now lights up the corner of Peachtree Street and Andrew Young International Boulevard. 

Stay tuned for the official lighting ceremony.  Who will flip the switch for Hard Rock Cafe?  You'll have to wait and see.  Rock On Atlanta!
